July 17th, the Statistics Bureau released new retail data: in 2017 June, the total retail sales of consumer goods 29808 yuan, representing an increase of 11% nominal price (after deducting the price factor, the actual growth of 10%). Among them, the total retail sales of cosmetics was 21 billion 500 million, an increase of 1 billion 900 million compared to May, an increase of 17% over the same period last year, much higher than the overall retail sales growth of consumer goods, a record high in recent years.
According to the Bureau of statistics summary overall data for the first 6 months of this year showed that in 2017 1~6 months, total retail sales of social consumer goods 172369 yuan, an increase of 10.4%; 1~6 months cosmetics retail sales amounted to 120 billion 300 million, an increase of 11.3%.
In addition, the Statistics Bureau released online retail statistics: in 2017 1~6 months, online retail sales of 31073 yuan, an increase of 33.4%. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods amounted to 23747 yuan, an increase of 28.6%, accounting for 13.8% of the total retail sales of consumer goods.
